Ege Kaan Duman
Biography
Ege Kaan Duman is a Kunshan Government Scholar and a part of the inaugural undergraduate cohort of Duke Kunshan University, expecting to graduate with a BSc in Global Health and Biology in May 2022. He is the first Rhodes Scholar Elect from his institution, DKU, and first to be elected from Turkey through the Global Rhodes Constituency. As an aspiring physician-scientist, Ege is interested in issues of health and healthcare, believing that an interdisciplinary and intercultural approach is crucial in addressing multi-faceted global health problems. Accordingly, his research interests include a wide spectrum of disciplines and areas such as medical ethics, global and public health, epidemiology, and anthropology.
